Happy June mail!!! 

I asked if you guys wanted a syrup or baking recipe, and the consensus was for a syrup recipe! So, here is my jasmine mango syrup recipe!

If you weren’t sure the recipe QR code is on a sticker so you can use it as a label and put it on whatever you store your new syrup in!!

Jasmine Mango Syrup

Ingredients

  • Jasmine tea, loose leaf or bags
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/3 cup sugar (white or brown)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Method

  1. Blend mango into smooth purée 
  2. Boil 1/2 cup water and steep jasmine tea (I recommend 3-4 tea bags or tablespoons)
  3. Add mango purée, tea and sugar into saucepan on low heat
  4. Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved 
  5. Turn off the heat
  6. Optional* add 1/2 tsp vanilla and a pinch of salt
  7. Allow to cool and transfer to a jar or container
  8. Store in the fridge
