I asked if you guys wanted a syrup or baking recipe, and the consensus was for a syrup recipe! So, here is my jasmine mango syrup recipe!
If you weren’t sure the recipe QR code is on a sticker so you can use it as a label and put it on whatever you store your new syrup in!!
Jasmine Mango Syrup
Ingredients
- Jasmine tea, loose leaf or bags
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
- 1/3 cup sugar (white or brown)
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
- Blend mango into smooth purée
- Boil 1/2 cup water and steep jasmine tea (I recommend 3-4 tea bags or tablespoons)
- Add mango purée, tea and sugar into saucepan on low heat
- Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved
- Turn off the heat
- Optional* add 1/2 tsp vanilla and a pinch of salt
- Allow to cool and transfer to a jar or container
- Store in the fridge
